From One Unit to Ontario's Storage Marketplace
In 2019, Alain Maisonneuve was helping a friend find storage in Toronto and was shocked by how fragmented and frustrating the process was — outdated websites, hidden fees, no online booking. He knew there had to be a better way.
storfindr launched with a single mission: make self storage as easy to find and book as a hotel room. Within two years, we expanded to Brampton and Mississauga. By 2024, we were serving over 5,000 customers across 6 Ontario cities.
Today, storfindr is more than a storage finder — we're a full-service moving and storage platform offering unit comparisons, instant booking, packing supplies, and expert support. Every decision we make is guided by one question: does this make life easier for our customers?
